Getting Started

OK today's topic will be what you need for an effective Paranormal Investigation group. First you need a strong team of people, a well mix of both believers and skeptics. Around 6 to 8 people is good, so you can split up in two person teams. Next, you need some equipment, like EMF meters, Digital Recorders for EVP's, IR and video cameras, motion detectors, etc. Any forms of protection depending on your faith.

Our Equipment

  • 1 laptop w/external drive with lots of memory...

  • 3 EMF (Electromagnetic Field Meter) Meters: To document disruptions in a locations magnetic field

  • 2 digital recorders

  • 1 Digital Camera

  • 1 regular Camera and lots of film

  • 4 IR Cameras for video in low light or darkness

  • 1 mini DVR video camera

  • Various flashlights and head lamps

  • Lots of fresh batteries

  • 1 Night Vision scope

  • Tripods

  • Drinks and snacks

  • First Aid kit

  • 2 Thermometers
Various psychic trigger objects: Items used to try and elicit a response from a ghost like; Balls and dolls for children to play with, Religious items and other items the Ghost may have used in life.

  • 1 Catholic Scapular

  • Sage and Cedar wands

  • Shinto/Buddhist Omamori

  • Holy Water

  • Spells or incantations
